This project is a house of houses; conceived as a succession of volumes in the landscape, this is a permeable home light, where daily connections challenge the traditional notion of inside and outside. A constant stroll through the garden, one could say. It is in this territorial play that the architecture dresses itself in emptiness, and the landscape merges with the walls to create more than just an enclosure... an experience of freedom and openness, where natural light, shadows, vegetation, and the breathtaking landscape of Miami’s canals come together to construct a perfect setting for perennial contemplation. This setting blends with a timeless, noble materiality, imbued with a sense of tropicality. A project by NMD NOMADAS and FHA in a #HAIMNOMADAS solution.

JACKSONVILLE RIVERWALK: A Vision for Urban Revitalization Anchored along the tranquil banks of the river, the Jacksonville Riverwalk stands as a testament to the transformative power of urban planning and design. Our mission was clear: to create a dynamic urban destination that not only enhances the quality of life for residents but also fosters economic prosperity through a careful mix of uses. What was once an urban void has evolved into a vibrant core of activity, breathing new life into the urban landscape. At the heart of our vision lies a commitment to preserving and enhancing green spaces. We began by reclaiming and revitalizing the original surface area, transforming it into lush spaces of tranquility amid the urban hustle. Building structures were strategically positioned to initiate the revitalization process, seamlessly integrating with the natural landscape to create a harmonious blend of architecture and greenery. Our goal was to elevate the urban experience to new heights. Inspired by the city’s rich cultural heritage, we envisioned a series of landscaped commercial terraces that rise upward, offering a unique shopping and dining experience with panoramic views of the river below. Above, residential towers rise, offering living spaces with unparalleled views of the surrounding urban landscape. A NMD NOMADAS project

SUNRISE URBAN ISLAND, A new built landscape in response to expanded suburbanization Nestled in the heart of the dynamic city of Sunrise, Urban Island emerges as an urban project aimed at transforming and revitalizing the existing urban fabric. Faced with an underutilized urban space, our proposal pursues an ambitious goal: to create a vibrant and functional environment that, by building a new landscape, promotes community life, improves the quality of life for local residents, and generates a new centrality that energizes and densifies a new urban heart for the city. he Urban Island project for Sunrise, framed within NMDNOMADAS’ extensive work on urban voids, focuses on creating a constructed landscape that, like an oasis, embraces a mix of apartment buildings, services, and townhouses. Our approach is to create a residential environment that, challenging and standing out from the prevailing suburban model in the area, fosters social interaction and public life in a model of new urbanity that is more natural, more active, and more human-centered. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮í𝘀𝗼 is a tropical refuge where architecture and nature become one. Designed to dissolve boundaries, every inch of this home invites its inhabitants to embrace the surrounding landscape, living in harmony with breathtaking views. A bridge between the natural and the built, it offers a space for family, relaxation, and inspiration—where daily life becomes a sublime experience. Light, shadow, and textures dance across the home, creating ever-changing scenes that blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living. For the Temple House project, we have developed a concept focused on creating a refuge for its inhabitants, a temple for living well. Our design intention is to define a space where the built environment merges with the natural, where light and shadow play with finishes and materials, marking the hours of the day and bathing each space of the house in an ever-changing tableau that minute by minute unveils colors, textures, shadows, aromas, and sounds, blurring the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living. Fanny Haim & Associates, Inc. leading the interior design and @nmdnomadas leading the architecture joined efforts to create this masterpiece.
