Shopify Plus Merchants - Action Needed for Checkout Process ▶ Shopify’s upcoming shift to Checkout Extensibility means changes are coming to your checkout process - especially if you have any customizations. The initial upgrade deadline of August 13th has passed so if you haven’t taken action you may experience: - No support for updating any “checkout.liquid” customizations on the info, shipping, & payment pages - No ability to deactivate payment gateways or switch providers - No accurate risk assessment and fraud indicators - Delayed payments from Shopify The next critical deadline is January 6, 2025. On THAT date, Shopify starts automatically updating some of the pages in your checkout process. ❌ You don’t want THAT. ❌ Why? You risk losing any customizations you have in place.
