Last week, North Range Marketing Director Micaela Sanchez and Dannon Cox, of Colorado School of Public Health at UNC, stopped by 1310 KFKA's Good Morning NoCo to talk about "Acts of Connection" — a new awareness campaign launching throughout Weld County aimed at combatting loneliness and social isolation. "There's different things we can do that just take small moments of our life to be able to say 'Hi, I'm in this world with you. We're existing together, and I'm really happy to see you.'" Check out the interview for more on how to take small steps to foster connection — with your community & with yourself: bit.ly/NRBH_aoc PS. As part of National Recovery Month, we celebrate September 20th as National Addiction Professionals Day! This awareness day was created in 1992 to commemorate & honor all of the hard work that addiction professionals do on a daily basis. Now, more than ever, it's vital to recognize the importance of addiction professionals & their efforts to support our communities. Happy National #AddictionProfessionalsDay to all our team members, community partners, and friends who work so hard to help others! ❤️
