Earlier this week, we celebrated the graduation of our Chevron Community Fellows—a class of doers, connectors, and individuals passionate about making a difference in the community. Congratulations to these incredible fellows! It's bittersweet to see this cohort wrap up, as each month was filled with emotion—whether laughter from inside jokes or tears sparked by powerful guest speakers. A huge thank you to Chevron for their unwavering support over the past four years. The impact this program brings to both the fellows and our organization is invaluable, and we are grateful for the journey we’ve shared together.

During our latest Chevron Fellows session, we took a deep dive into the pressing issue of food insecurity. We kicked things off with Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana by learning some eye-opening realities about the struggles faced by our state, region, and parishes. Next, we participated in an online simulation that gave us a firsthand experience of the tough choices individuals facing food insecurity have to make. It only takes 10 minutes – try it for yourself here https://lnkd.in/gGxihUhE To wrap up, we visited the Northshore Food Bank to hear about the impactful work they’re doing in our community and got hands-on by helping out with some warehouse needs.
