Last week, we reengaged our impactful partnership with Teens in the Driver Seat and Tyson Dever to host an assembly at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst-Euless-Bedfored ISD about the real-life dangers of distracted driving. Over 1,000 students attended the event where Tyson shared his own personal experience about the devastating impact that distracted driving can have on motorists, roadway crews, and first responders. 🎥 At the end of the assembly, every student and faculty member in attendance stood to take the pledge against distracted driving. Thank you to our partners, HURST-EULESS-BEDFORD ISD EDUCATION FOUNDATION, State Farm, Texas A&M Transportation Institute for helping us continue to promote #DistractedDriving awareness to new drivers on the road.

#ThrowbackThursday - a look back 10 years ago when the first Public Private Partnership highway project in Texas opened in Northeast Tarrant County. The North Tarrant Express crosses six cities and has provided mobility, congestion relief and economic growth throughout the region for over a decade!

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of the North Tarrant Express! 🎉 Today, we proudly mark the 10th anniversary of the opening of the North Tarrant Express (NTE) project! The 13-mile corridor, spanning from Fort Worth to Euless across Northeast Tarrant County, was the first Public-Private Partnership project approved by the State of Texas under a Comprehensive Development Agreement. The NTE has significantly improved mobility and economic growth in North Texas over the past decade. Last night, we gathered at the John Wayne Museum in the Fort Worth Stockyards with many friends who kicked off the construction of the NTE project with us in 2009. 🚧 NTE Road to Expansion Series Update 🚧 In September, our construction partners #NorthTarrantInfrastructure continued paving along the NTE Capacity Improvement Project east of Holiday Ln. on I-820 and near Brown Trail on SH 121/183. The first precast panels were set on the bridges at Holiday and Beach St., and beams were successfully set at Holiday Ln. to prepare the bridges for concrete during the project's next phase. 🚀 We love supporting STEM education! 💡 Last week, we hosted another successful STEM camp where our employee volunteers shared their passion for civil engineering with students at J.N. Ervin Elementary School. Thanks to our partners, Tackle Tomorrow Foundation & Dallas Independent School District STEM Department, we are able to bring this experience to underserved students in North Texas. Students from 3rd - 5th grade put on their STEM hats to design and build truss bridges made only out of glue and popsicle sticks. With guidance from our engineers, each team showcased their civil engineer skills to successfully build their truss bridges, and the competition was intense! The winning bridge held over 125 lbs. of weight – a true testament to the creativity and ingenuity of these young minds. It's moments like these that show the power of hands-on learning and inspire the next generation of engineers! 🌟 #STEMeducation #BuildingBridges #CommunityPartnerships

For the third consecutive year, our company proudly participated in the annual #StJudeWalkRun in Dallas/Fort Worth to support St. Jude's mission to end childhood cancer. Team members and their family members from across all our DFW Ferrovial business units participated in the walk last weekend to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
