This month OBB founder and CEO, Michael D. Ratner, was honored as Storyteller of the Year by Project Healthy Minds at their World Mental Health Day Festival. He was presented the award by Demi Lovato at their annual gala after he took the stage alongside Demi and Carson Daly for a powerful panel on mental health storytelling in the media OBB directly seeks to create impactful projects that address mental health through our OBB Cares initiative, helmed by the incomparable Maddy Roth, and are so proud that Michael and OBB have been at the forefront of using storytelling as a tool for change in the landscape. We’re honored to be a part of the ongoing conversation around mental health, and we’re committed to continuing to destigmatize these important issues through the word that we do. What an honor!

We only could’ve dreamed that making our film would lead to this outcome. Governor Gavin Newsom has officially signed these bills into law which extend protections that are in place for child stars in the film and television industry to child stars in digital and social media.
