When one of us wins, we all win together. When women like Amy Selwood McGovern, Cara Lewis, Megan Shutts, Roseann Montenes and Katie Klein come together, they inspire action and lift others up right when they need it the most. We were so honored to attend the American Cancer Society Coaches vs. Cancer Dinner Benefit and witness the dedication and passion of these women who led the event to raise over $400k in support of eradicating cancer. It is profound to see the impact everyone involved has made raising awareness and building a strong, empowering community for those affected by cancer. To the women of Media Ladies Conquering Cancer, from all of us at OpenAP, we couldn’t be prouder to stand with you 💙 If cancer has touched you or someone in your life, please visit medialadiescc.com and join their community of warriors. Hear firsthand what advertising luminaries Michael Kassan, Jamie Power, Nicole Parlapiano, and Jay Askinasi had to say in Cannes at the most in-demand luncheon of the festival. 🎥👇 Here are the 3 key takeaways: 1️⃣ Premium streaming viewers are highly engaged and span various generations and demographics, all while consuming content across multiple platforms. 2️⃣ We must look at television more holistically in order to maximize reach. 3️⃣ Interoperability is key. We’re still not over our inaugural Cannes Riviera Supper Club 🥂 Talking about the future on panels and events is one thing, but bringing together the people who are doing the work to design and build that future for an evening focused connection – that’s where the magic happens. Thanks to our friends at XR Extreme Reach and Tequila Komos and all our guests who got dressed up and joined us in the hills of Cannes. We are inspired by and grateful for both the new and tried-and-true relationships that are driving our industry forward.

Lasting transformation starts with incremental progress, and it requires agility, rigor and collaboration from the across the industry. That's why today's JIC Currency Certification news is so significant. In just one year's time, agencies and publishers came together to not only author baseline requirements for new cross-platform currencies but to bring clarity and transparency to the multi-currency conversation via the JIC's inaugural Currency Certification – all at a pace being dictated by the ever-changing behaviors of today's modern consumer. Congrats to our partners at Comscore, Inc. and VideoAmp for today's recognition of the progress you've made toward innovation. Check out the news and give the new U.S. Joint Industry Committee a follow below:
Today, the U.S. Joint Industry Committee reached a significant milestone by announcing the first measurement companies to receive certification for transactability as national currencies: Comscore, Inc. and VideoAmp. The certification follows a rigorous data evaluation analysis, with full committee participation across buyside and sellside, including AMC Networks, A+E Networks, dentsu, Fox Corporation, GroupM, Hallmark Media, Havas, Horizon Media, IPG Mediabrands, NBCUniversal, Omnicom Media Group, Paramount Advertising, Publicis Groupe, RPA, Samsung Ads, The E.W. Scripps Company, TelevisaUnivision, Warner Bros. Discovery, the VAB and OpenAP. "The collaboration over the last year to bring buyers and sellers to the same table to work in partnership with the measurement companies, who have dedicated an incredible amount of time, energy and resources to this process, is a testament to this industry’s dedication to progress as we build a more sustainable measurement ecosystem for the future. We applaud the work of all measurement companies and encourage continued innovation as we scale." - Travis Scoles, SVP, Advanced Advertising at Paramount and Chairman of the JIC Board Read the full news here:

Over the last year, the U.S. Joint Industry Committee has taken monumental and critical steps to create more transparency and rigor for media buyers and sellers around the transactional readiness of emerging cross-platform solutions and new currencies. These efforts go hand-in-hand with the longstanding audit and accreditation efforts led by the Media Rating Council, complementing – not competing – by offering a new way to evaluate real data and certify specifically for transaction.
