Great to see our CTO Priyanka Tembey featured in VentureBeat's analysis of the edge-cloud evolution in enterprise AI deployment! In the article, Priyanka highlights how the pendulum between #edge and #cloud continues to shift in the age of #AI. At Operant, we're particularly focused on how this hybrid approach is becoming crucial for responsible AI development. The future we envision isn't just about choosing between edge or cloud — it's about building more secure, privacy-aware AI systems, wherever they are! We're excited to be leading the charge towards enabling more responsible AI development and helping organizations bring AI capabilities to market in a secure way. Loved hearing the #SecuringAI panel at the #AIRealized conference in San Francisco featuring our own Vrajesh B.! Strong consensus that #AISecurity is a business critical priority that spans beyond engineering and the #CISO's office (and personal responsibility) to all organizational leaders from legal to the CFO and the CEO. Loved Jake Martens emphasis on using security to maximize business value for companies, instead of just checking compliance boxes - very much in line with our vision of security fueling innovation and growth instead of holding it back. Thank you, Shana Simmons for your engaging moderating and congrats Liz O'Sullivan for your announcement! Cheers to the future of #ResponsibleAI with fast, secure deployments supported by every org at the company! #AISecurity #AIProtection #CyberForAI

So excited to be at the #OWASP global conference in San Francisco. Anyone who’s around should come by and meet our amazing team Julie Rockett, Laurel F., and Victoria M. or get a live demo from our co-founders Ashley Roof and Vrajesh B.. Come see how we’re redefining application security for the modern world by breaking down barriers between #API, #K8s and data protection at #runtime and get some cyber cocktail recipes to share ;). Cheers!

🚀 Operant is excited to sponsor OWASP's Global #AppSec conference next week in San Francisco! Come by booth G214 to chat with our team about making runtime protection work across your entire application stack (in less than 5 minutes) and snag a copy of our limited-edition Cyber Cocktails recipe book complete with Honeypots, API Kiwi Twists, Threat Dragons, and Fireball Firewalls (to name a few). Come see how our runtime protection platform enables security teams to block >80% of the #OWASP top 10 attacks across APIs, LLMs, and Kubernetes. DM us to schedule a private demo with one of our founders! #OWASPAppSec #Cybersecurity #CloudNative #Runtime #KubernetesSec #APISec #WomenInCyber

Loved this article from Jon Swartz in Techstrong.ai with a quote from our very own co-founder Vrajesh B. on the duality of #AI as Friend or Foe. Jon captured a perfect summary of the growing complexity of the conversations around securing AI at #BlackHat. Can security really catch up with the speed of innovation? Or does security actually fuel innovation by enabling safer, faster deployments of business critical applications? How can companies actually manage the broadening attack surface when deployment speed is only going to keep accelerating? Great insights in the piece from Sumedh Thakar from Qualys and Brett Stone-Gross from Zscaler too!

For me, the best part of conferences is always the company, and having my co-founders Priyanka Tembey and Vrajesh B. at #BlackHat helps me reflect on the excitement of all that we’ve accomplished and all the exciting things yet to come! I’m glad to see how well attended the #AISummit is, highlighting how seriously companies and security teams are taking the importance of #AISecurity from hardening applications to reducing exposure to prompt injection attacks to expanding governance to make sure #AI development is compliant with new regulations and standards. So much work ahead of us, but “the work is lighter with many hands” ;).
