About us
Our Lady of the Angels Hospital is part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. The health system was organized in 1984 to unite three existing hospitals in Louisiana which were already part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady's mission of extending the healthcare of Jesus Christ to those most in need. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the health system serves patients across the State of Louisiana through a network of hospitals, clinics, physicians, elderly housing and integrated information systems and currently employs over 10,000 individuals.

Many patients come to us only when they fear something is wrong. Often, we address those ailments and send them back into the same environment that created them. By giving them resources to improve their circumstances, overall health, and lives in the process, we can go from fixers to true healers, making a meaningful impact in our patient's lives once they leave our facility.
