In partnership with P33 Chicago and CBRE, we brought together an extraordinary group of leaders, founders, and capital providers to explore the vibrant and evolving landscape of #AI and #biotech in Chicago. The event was highlighted by a compelling keynote address from Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, whose insights enriched a day filled with thought-provoking discussions. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all our panelists and attendees for their exceptional contributions and engaging dialogue. We look forward to continuing these vital conversations and driving innovation within Chicago's flourishing #tech community.

They called us The Windy City. Not just for the way the lake howls through the streets, but for the way we talked—loud, ambitious, full of big ideas and even bigger bets. To some, it was just hot air. But wind is a force. It shapes skylines, drives change, turns whispers into movement. And here in Chicago, we know that big ideas don’t just hang in the air—they take root, they rise, they build. It’s the energy that built the first skyscraper, reversed the river, and pulled off a world’s fair that stunned the globe. For the 4th annual TechChicago Week, we’re carrying that legacy forward with our next big bets. These aren’t just ideas; they’re the foundation of what’s next, backed by both the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago as they double down on tech, innovation, and the industries that will define our future. Because when Chicago moves, industries shift, economies grow, and new possibilities take flight. Welcome to TechChicago Week 2025: Big Bets. The future is here, and the wind is at our backs. _ 💡 Learn more about submitting a partner event and sponsorship opportunities at gotechchicago.com/week

What an amazing panel discussion hosted by Chicago Innovation this evening at the Rauner Family YMCA on the Future of Chicago. Moderated by Alexi Giannoulias and joined by Pete Kadens , Christy George , Brad Henderson , Andrea Sáenz and Kevin Warren. There was such a thoughtful discussion on the big ideas and big bets by a group of leaders who care deeply about the future competitiveness of Chicago. Delving into emerging topics like quantum, artificial intelligence - it is clear that Chicago has the potential for greatness. In order to achieve our goals, we will need to train our workforce, educate the next generation and remove barriers that have inhibited our cooperation. If we are able to do this, in the words of Christy George we will become an unstoppable force!
