What great news for Pittsburgh! This funding will help downtown increase affordable housing, create new public spaces, and bolster resident safety.
A historic investment from Governor Josh Shapiro and the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development in downtown Pittsburgh revitalization efforts bolsters our commitment with Allegheny County, City of Pittsburgh, and dozens of downtown stakeholders to create a true neighborhood in downtown. "This announcement demonstrates Pittsburgh’s positive momentum. As public and private sector leaders, we are using our collective power and expertise to unlock opportunities for a reimagined downtown,” said our CEO Stefani Pashman. “It’s not enough to focus on one element of revitalization. Together, we are tackling housing needs, clean and safe efforts, economic development, and reimagining civic spaces – all with the goal of creating a downtown neighborhood for all.” https://lnkd.in/eRa2wrfJ
