PALTOWN Development Foundation is a nonprofit building online communities and education resources to empower patients and caregivers. PALTOWN's first community, COLONTOWN, serves thousands of colorectal cancer patients and caregivers. Additional programs include * COLONTOWN University, disease education by and for patients * Empowered Patient Leader Workshops * Second Opinion Project, helping stage IV colorectal cancer patients access second opinions * Searching Safari, a workshop to train stage IV colorectal cancer patients how to identify clinical trial options * Derrière Diplomats, connecting newly diagnosed patients with education and support PALTOWN is a virtual organization whose work relies on the commitment of both its professional staff - all of whom have relevant lived experience - and the many patient and caregiver volunteers who help deliver its programs and services.
