Driven by the Atlanta Continuum of Care, led by Partners for Home, our reach goes beyond a housing-first approach. Through The Melody Project, we’ve set up low-cost micro-unit communities to ensure our neighbors stay a part of their neighborhoods. We're proud to have Tanisha Wright, WNBA Champion & Head Coach, standing with us in this effort. Her support highlights the teamwork it takes across our city to end homelessness, proving that together, we can create lasting change for our communities. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eR2_dT_x

Gateway Center, a member of the Atlanta CoC, recently partnered with Leadership Atlanta for their Amazing Race event. Gateway Center provided a powerful experience at Woodruff Park, giving participants a small glimpse into the daily challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness. We are grateful for this collaborative effort to raise awareness of homelessness in our city. By working together, we’re one step closer to building a more supportive and compassionate Atlanta. Let's continue the conversation and work toward meaningful solutions for ending homelessness in our community. #PartnersForHOME #GatewayCenter #LeadershipAtlanta #HomelessnessAwareness #CommunityAction #EndHomelessness

We didn’t run an Amazing Race… but we successfully completed an Amazing Race at a fun filled event hosted by Leadership Atlanta. Our Gateway Center team ran a station at Woodruff Park at their Amazing Race event where participants were given a backpack and we had to find three key items that would allow us to find shelter by the end of the day.

Exciting News! The Youth Action Board (YAB) at Partners for HOME is being spotlighted by the Annie E. Casey Foundation for its incredible work in the fight against homelessness in Atlanta. Since 2015, Partners for HOME has coordinated a comprehensive system to tackle homelessness. The seven-member YAB plays a pivotal role, drawing on their own experiences to create lasting solutions for youth housing insecurity. Recent YAB Initiatives: Developed a youth provider rating system to assess local services. Created a youth resource guide to help young people navigate housing and support systems. Participated in professional development workshops in advocacy, public speaking, and networking. Hosted monthly recruitment events to grow the board and raise awareness about their mission. Kyra Stoute, Chair of the YAB and Georgia State student, reflects: "Being part of the YAB has been transformative. It’s empowered me to advocate for homeless youth, amplify their voices in policy decisions, and build long-term solutions." https://lnkd.in/eFZNjFRw #YouthActionBoard #EndHomelessness #PartnersforHOME #CaseyFoundation #CommunityImpact #Atlanta

Together with the City of Atlanta and the dedicated members of the Atlanta Continuum of Care (CoC), we’ve made significant strides in addressing homelessness. The CoC—comprising over 170 nonprofit, government, business, and community stakeholders—works tirelessly to end homelessness by fostering community-wide commitment and securing essential funding for rehousing efforts. Since the first data collection in the 2016 PIT Count, the number of neighbors experiencing homelessness has decreased by 30%. This progress reflects the power of collaboration and our shared vision for a more compassionate, equitable city. But there is more to be done. We need to continue coming together to ensure everyone has a place to call home and the wrap-around services they need to thrive. Join us in the mission to create lasting change—because home is just the beginning. https://lnkd.in/eR2_dT_x #PartnersForHome #INTheNeighborhood #EndHomelessness #HousingFirst #CommunityImpact
