On Sept. 30, we celebrated the grand reopening of Sobik’s Subs with an updated menu. More than a sub-shop, Sobik’s is a social enterprise with a purpose. Read more about our Sobiks Sub Shop here: https://lnkd.in/gYG-bjzR

For over 30 years, we are Central Florida's first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for our homeless
About us
Pathlight HOME changes the lives of homeless and low income Floridians by providing affordable housing and economic opportunities. Now in our 25th year, we are Central Florida’s first and largest provider of permanent supportive housing for homeless men, women and families. Originally incorporated as Grand Avenue Economic Development Corporation, we have helped more than 5,000 of our homeless neighbors through our “housing first” philosophy. Today, more than 600 residents receive safe, dignified housing and the supportive services of a team of social workers to help them stay housed. Pathlight HOME also operates two social enterprises, Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café. These enterprises create an opportunity for low-income community members to learn culinary skill sets, enabling them to overcome barriers to employment and earn higher wages.

A huge thank you to Toptech for their generosity!
The Toptech Systems' Longwood Florida office spent the morning packing up donations for Pathlight HOME. The non-profit organization, based in Orlando, provides people with a permanent residence, then provides support services and training to help them become self-sufficient. Thanks to the Toptech Systems' employees who donated so much for such a worthy cause!

With nearly 20 years of dedicated service, please join us in congratulating Clarissa on her recent promotion to Property Manager! In her role, she will oversee the operations of our Maxwell Terrace Apartment community. “Growing up, I watched my mother work as a property manager for Section 8 properties, and she dedicated herself to ensuring that every resident received high-quality care and attention, no matter their circumstance or background.” This inspiration led Clarissa to Pathlight HOME in 2005 with a clear mission: to continue her mother’s legacy by ensuring that individuals experiencing homelessness are treated with the same level of care and respect.

Freedom is on the move at Pathlight HOME, thanks to a generous $10,000 grant from the KFC Foundation. The funding sponsored eight mobility scooters for residents at the Maxwell Terrace apartments, laying the foundation for a more accessible future. Read more: https://lnkd.in/g_m-TRRf
