Happy anniversary to Stillwater Wind! Today marks another year of excellent work from the team at Stillwater Wind, but each spring is when their community commitment truly shines. The Stillwater Wind annual spring cleanup focuses on the routes the team uses most frequently on their daily commute to the project. Facility Manager Nathan Durfey started the event in 2020 after noticing the amount of trash that accumulated on the side of the country roads. Ever since, the team has dedicated time to beautifying Stillwater County. #PatternEnergy #PatternPeople #PatternAnniversary #StillwaterWind #Sustainability

We are proud to join other industry leaders at the 2024 ESIG Fall Technical Workshop in Rhode Island! Pattern’s Vice President of Integrated Energy Systems Planning Christopher Clack is contributing to two sessions, LA100: The Los Angeles 100% Renewable Energy Study and 100% Clean Energy or 100% Clean Electricity: The Importance of Energy Sector Coupling. While speaking at the LA100: The Los Angeles 100% Renewable Energy Study Session, Chris discussed the RARE Power Dataset – an open-source tool developed to give utilities and planners the tools they need to advance the energy transition. Thank you for representing Pattern at this essential event, tackling the technical hurdles on the path to a clean energy future.

Join American Clean Power Association (ACP) the week of #VeteransDay to learn more about how #veterans enter the #workforce. This will be a great webinar for veterans interested in #cleanenergy #careers. What I've seen is the three most common entry points into the industry are technicians (skilled trades), project management (operations), and project development (a little of everything). In this webinar you'll meet three veterans that each came into the industry initially through each of those pathways. They've since continued to flourish in their clean energy careers. We'll also be talking about opportunities for employers to understand, access, and source veteran talent for their companies. Nick Martocci - Entered as a Wind Technician, and went onto become a business owner at Tower Training Academy Paul Haberlein - Entered as a Project Manager, and went on to become an executive with Pattern Energy Group Samantha Sawmiller, MPA - Entered as a Project Developer, and continued to grow in that function into a Director role at Open Road Renewables. She was also a fellow with the Veterans Advanced Energy Project at the Atlantic Council Global Energy Center RSVP Link in the comments below.

We are happy to announce the release of the RARE Power Dataset — a revolutionary open-source tool developed in partnership with Vibrant Clean Energy, LLC (VCE), Catalyst Cooperative, and GridLab. This represents a major step forward for the renewable energy sector, giving planners, utilities, and consumers the tools needed to build a stronger, more efficient grid and advance the energy transition.
GridLab is thrilled to join forces with Vibrant Clean Energy (VCE), Pattern Energy Group, and Catalyst Cooperative to release the Resource Adequacy Renewable Energy (RARE) Power Dataset, which provides an open-source solar and wind dataset for power systems planners helping to fill an important void in the modeling world. This modeling gamechanger is part of the ESIG (Energy Systems Integration Group) Technical Conference kicking off today in Providence, Rhode Island. READ more in the attached release and start exploring the dataset here >> https://lnkd.in/eqiP29wD

Our commitment to honor and protect our shared ecosystems goes beyond developing renewable energy sources. We recently purchased land in San Acacia and are working with U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, and environmental stakeholders toconvert it back to native habitat. This land is critical to supporting migratory birds, like the sandhill crane, and our goal is to donate it to the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge. Thank you to all the individuals and environmental organizations who have helped us with the development of this special project. We are excited for what the future holds! #PatternEnergy #SunZia #SevilletaNationalWildlifeRefuge #Sustainability

We’re honored to commemorate #IndigenousPeoplesDay, a time to recognize the historical and ongoing influence and contributions of Native Communities. Pattern strongly believes in the value and potential of meaningful partnerships with Indigenous Peoples. We operate four facilities with First Nations as partial owners. These partnerships have resulted in several sustainability innovations, positively impacting people and the environment. #Indigenous #Sustainability

We’re excited to celebrate Diversity Month, a time to recognize, honor, and amplify the diverse voices and experiences that make Pattern strong. We have recognized Diversity Month since 2020, with team members volunteering to create meaningful events and initiatives each October. This year’s theme, The Power of Diversity, emphasizes the strength we gain from embracing and enabling a diverse workforce. At Pattern, diversity isn't just a representation — it's a dynamic force that propels us forward. This month’s festivities include Pattern panels, lunches, a book drive, and other charitable events. Thank you to our team for leading the way and building a culture we can be proud of! #PatternEnergy #PatternPeople #DiversityMonth #Sustainability
