Drain commissioners and drainage boards hold the crucial responsibility of protecting county and intercounty drains. This duty extends to collaborating with utility companies for safe and compliant utility crossings. Utility crossings—whether pipelines, communication cables, sanitary sewer lines, water mains, or electrical lines—must meet the stringent permit requirements set by the respective drain commissioners or drainage boards. Last week, the PEA Group team volunteered at the On My Own of Michigan's annual fundraising event at the Troy Community Center. This marks our third year participating in their summer event, which offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with the On My Own community and enjoy an evening filled with fun and philanthropy.   For 27 years, On My Own of Michigan has supported individuals with developmental disabilities, like autism and down syndrome, in achieving independence. This year's 'Bingo Bonanza' featured exciting games and prizes donated by local businesses, exemplifying their mission.   We’re honored to support this vital cause and witness the power of community!

Site work has officially begun at the future Redford Recreation Center in Redford, MI. In collaboration with HED, the Charter Township of Redford is developing a state-of-the-art recreation and wellness center designed to enhance the township's parks and recreation programs while offering a vibrant space for community meetings and events. This new center promises to be a cornerstone for the Redford community, and we at PEA Group are proud to provide civil engineering services for this transformative project.
