As a first-generation professional, my talent alone was not enough to get me in rooms and help me stay there. I can do both now because I had/have a solid team of WISE COUNSEL along the way to help position me and keep me in shape for my journey. They're two different processes (more on that in another post). My career has been a journey of milestones, and madness. I needed a lot of mentorship than I thought I did.
