I jumped at the chance to do an eBook for Peoplebox.ai on employee engagement surveys, because it reminds me of a fond work memory I have. ❤️ When I worked as HR, we had to roll out an Employer Value Proposition survey for hundreds of employees on a short notice. Every single day, our team sat down for hours together coming up with a bunch of questions, and viewing them from all possible angles (employee, manager, leadership), binning many and finalizing a few from the bunch. We did everything on paper, manually figuring out each bucket, on driver of engagement and everything else before we administered the survey. I was a rookie at the time, and I thought the pre-work itself was a huge task. Little did I know what we had in stock after the survey. The survey was administered manually on paper, and we had several hundred responses. When the responses came back, I was flabbergasted. After days of segregating responses and mapping them, we coded each one, and then started tracking trends. We had to go to battle with Excel and come up with multiple graphs and infographics for each question and each category, which was a struggle on its own. Seeing how overwhelmed we were, my manager kindly took over and helped us speed up the entire process, and prepared the report himself. It was one of my first projects after I began working and we had to pull a few all-nighters to get this done. It was also the first bonding experience with my team. Cut to now, when I was researching for the eBook, I found how everything we did then could be automated now at the click of a few buttons using Peoplebox.ai. Right from choosing questions, to extracting any reports you want to administering it in the right places to just about everything else you need to make your survey successful. If only we had this tool then! In this eBook not only have I brought in my own pearls of wisdom from the time we successfully rolled out surveys for my organization, I've also weaved in how in each stage Peoplebox can be a real lifesaver.
