🤖 Agentic AI is here and is poised to reshape the enterprise landscape. At Personal AI, we know firsthand how crucial data privacy is for the enterprise—especially in highly-regulated industries. In a recent report by Forum Ventures, 2024: The Rise of Agentic AI in the Enterprise, trust emerged as the number one barrier to AI agent adoption. As part of this report development, I sat down with the Forum team to share how Personal AI has built trust, transparency and confidence with the enterprise in order to drive adoption of our agentic solution. Here are few key takeaways from our conversation: ◾ In sectors with stringent privacy standards, we’ve built trust by isolating every user’s data. Keeping indexes separate ensures that information isn’t mixed or used to train broader models, giving users the confidence that their data remains private and secure. ◾ Enterprises require AI systems that can offer varying degrees of autonomy. For example, some teams prefer autopilot for routine tasks, while others, like those in finance, need a co-pilot mode that requires human approval for sensitive actions. This flexibility aligns AI capabilities with different regulatory and operational needs. ◾ Scaling on a mass level won’t happen until companies see clear value. I recommend startups start with one or two teams that have purchasing power and can champion the AI agent internally, much like Slack’s growth strategy. Demonstrating value with these early adopters can pave the way for broader adoption across the organization. Agentic AI offers tremendous potential, but achieving mass adoption requires a careful balance of trust, customization, and proven results.
