Vice President of Store Development with National Fitness Partners Todd Schively has served on the PFIFC Store Development Committee since 2022, and he enjoys using his development knowledge to help other franchisees. He says, “When I joined the Store Development Committee in 2022, I was looking for a way to utilize my real estate and development experience in a manner that would benefit more franchisees than just NFP. I have enjoyed working with the members of the SDC, all of whom bring a team-oriented approach to address system-wide, real estate and construction-related challenges facing franchisees.” #pfifc

The PFIFC Convention Committee had its first meeting on August 21, in order to start planning for the 2025 PFIFC Franchisee Convention in Puerto Rico. Committee members Mary Conway Scott, Brian Cassagio, Christy White, Sarah Wilson, Andrew Sholly, PHR, SHRM-CP, Will Delaney, Chris Odum, Kelly Fleming, Keishla Tejedor Rodriguez and Cecelia Newman will help the PFIFC team create another successful convention for Planet Fitness franchisees.

PFIFC Executive Director Kristi Hoffman, CAE, CMP and Senior Director of Marketing and Communications Jessica Loeding traveled to Cleveland, Ohio from Aug. 10-13 to attend the ASAE: The Center for Association Leadership Annual Meeting. Attending this year’s event allowed them to learn from leaders in the association industry and gather best practices, inspiration and resources for bettering the PFIFC. #pfifc #associationmanagement #asae  

PFIFC President and Managing Partner with Houston Fitness Partners Scott Sanders traveled to Atlanta to visit the PFIFC team last week. During the trip, the staff shared their individual goals and how they will work to improve the PFIFC in the next year. Scott also took the time to get to know each person on the PFIFC team better over lunch and dinner. The PFIFC is lucky to have a Board of Directors who take the time to support and get to know the support staff on a deeper level. #pfifc #orangeyouglad

Within the PFIFC community, there are many stellar members. The Health & Fitness Association (formerly IHRSA) honored Lynne Brick, vice president of fitness, owner and former president of Ohana Growth Partners, LLC, with its 2024 Julie Main Award for Women in Leadership at the 2024 Health & Fitness Association Convention & Trade Show. The PFIFC not only drives clear and consistent communication between PFHQ and franchisees, but also facilitates the sharing of best practices within the PF franchise community. Michael Ciolli, chief financial officer with Supreme Fitness, has served on the Enterprise Value Committee (EVC) since 2022 and believes the forum provides a unique opportunity to share best practices within the PF community. “I constantly look and listen for ways to drive value in our business, and when I find something impactful, I share it with other franchisees,” he said. “The EVC is the perfect vehicle by which to do that consistently and with a high likelihood of uptake and/or analysis.” #volunteerspotlight #pfifc
