What an inspiring morning at WHYY! Huge thanks to the The Pew Charitable Trusts, The Welcoming Center, HIAS, Nationalities Service Center, and all the panelists for sparking such an important conversation on the impact of immigrants in Philadelphia's economy. The insights were invaluable, and the Arm Chair Discussion with Anuj Gupta and Exequiel (Zeke) Hernandez, who shared compelling stories from his book The Truth About Immigration, was a true highlight. And as if that wasn’t enough, I had the joy of catching up with some incredible friends and collaborators on the set of Philly’s own Albie's Elevator!
