Congratulations Midtown Alliance on the exciting news regarding the acquisition of this 4-acre site that will transform the vacant land into a unique, vibrant urban park located adjacent to Piedmont’s 1180 Peachtree property in Midtown, Atlanta.   Piedmont’s clients value both indoor and outdoor collaboration spaces. The transformation of this space will not only serve as an amenity for our buildings, 1180 Peachtree and 999 Peachtree, but for the entire Midtown community forever.   We can’t wait to watch the progress!

The Energy Star certification recognizes energy-efficient performance levels, excellent environmental compliance, and reaching energy-efficient achievement in the top 25% nationwide. LEED certification designates commercial buildings that are designed, built, and operated to minimize environmental impact, while offering healthy settings in which to work and live. Approximately 69% of our portfolio is LEED Certified (based on square footage). In addition to Energy Star and LEED Gold, Galleria Towers is also BOMA 360 certified.

Piedmont is thrilled to support the Cumberland Community Improvement District (CCID) and the recent opening of the Akers Mill Ramp Express Lanes. This further expands the accessibility to Galleria on the Park for both our tenants and the public. Recently at REITworld’s annual conference in Las Vegas, Nareit interviewed Piedmont’s CEO, Brent Smith.
