We continue to celebrate Lyndia Downie's 40th anniversary at Pine Street Inn! Under her leadership, Pine Street has expanded its permanent housing, now with 38 residences in Greater Boston and more to come! Pictured is a celebratory ribbon-cutting of a new Pine Street housing location from 2008 with Lyndia, Mayor Tom Menino and other VIPs.

First-time visiting chef Deborah Hansen of Taberna De Haro recently taught Pine Street's @icaterboston trainees how to make paella. "I love teaching. It gives me joy to show people reentering the workforce or considering the field that it's a career that's useful, productive and gratifying," says Chef Deborah.
