Today, on National First Responders Day, county partners from our Placer County Sheriff's Office, Placer County District Attorney, Office of Emergency Services, Health & Human Services and others joined the City of Roseville, Westfield Galleria and other community partners as they conducted an annual active shooter exercise at the mall and subsequent discussion. This vital training highlights the importance of preparedness and the dedication of our first responders. Thank you for your commitment to keeping our community safe!

The county will feature technology innovations at Placer Valley 2024, the region’s premiere business conference set for Oct. 18 in City of Roseville. Innovation from Le Cavalier, Penryn’s Project 8 Winery, will be one of several featured businesses along with Sierra College and their nursing program’s life-like mannequin. Make sure to stop by the Placer County booth to see what all the talk is about.
