Another episode from Pinnacle's Fraudcast has dropped! Chief Information Security Officer Keith Thomas interviews Special Agent Regis Billings from the FBI on the latest cybersecurity risks and trends. While the scams have gotten more sophisticated, the vast majority start with spear-fishing emails that contain legitimate-looking documents or links that unleash malware. Billings also explains sim-swapping, an emerging method of gaining access to people's accounts. #pinnaclefraudcast #protectyourself #businessemailcompromise #multifactorauthentication

Pinnacle jumped to No. 9 on Fortune's Best Workplaces for Millennials, up from No. 26 in 2023. It is said that Millennials value work-life balance, strong ethics and companies and leaders who support and appreciate their associates... all of which are values and priorities at our firm. This next generation of leaders thrives on our work environment, which promotes self-empowerment, autonomy and pursuing your passions. We're grateful for the contributions of Millennials to our culture and client service. #bestworkplaces #millennials #top10

Pinnacle was featured in the most recent issue of Contact Center Pipeline in an article about customer preferences. Despite the explosion of AI, chatbots and other self-service technologies, consumers still favor getting assistance from a human. And while 71 percent are more willing to attempt self-service, they want the choice to seek human assistance. That's why we invest in experienced associates and have our own in-house client service center line, answered by our associates, in person. We have an automated line for those who prefer it, but it gets lonely; most clients prefer our people. #bethere #humantouch

It's official! By unanimous vote of Pinnacle's board of directors, Charissa Sumerlin is now chief credit officer for the firm. As CEO Terry Turner said in the announcement, Charissa has the rare combination of experience with both CRE and C&I credit, which gives her a strong understanding of how all our lending and credit teams work. She served as deputy chief credit officer for the past two years as part of Tim Huestis's succession plan. She takes the reins following a brief transition period in which Harvey White served as interim CCO following Huestis's sudden passing in late 2023. White will now handle special projects in the credit arena.

It's a privilege to play a small part in someone becoming a homeowner for the first time. Pinnacle Financial Advisor Keely Ritchie and Mortgage Advisor Bridget Mounger had the opportunity to do that for a Knoxville new homeowner recently. Congratulations, Vanessa! Many thanks to East Tennessee Housing Development Corporation and Tennessee Housing Development Agency as well as Knoxville's Community Development Corporation Self-Sufficiency Program and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley. Vanessa and her children now have a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home of their own that's building equity for their future. #homeownership #ittakesavillage #communitydevelopment
