About us
Pocono Mountain Recovery Center provides a full continuum of treatment services for adult men and women who have been struggling with substance abuse, chemical dependency, and certain co-occurring mental health conditions. Located on a picturesque rural campus in eastern Pennsylvania, Pocono Mountain Recovery Center provides treatment at the following levels: •Detoxification •Residential program •Partial hospitalization program (PHP) •Intensive outpatient program (IOP) •Traditional outpatient programming (OP) •Extended care •Sober living Treatment at Pocono Mountain Recovery Center is based upon the 12-Step Recovery Model, and the program’s therapeutic approach employs the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing. In addition to individual, group, and family therapy, the program offers a variety of experiential therapies, including art therapy, music therapy, recreational therapy, and yoga. Men and women who heal at Pocono Mountain Recovery Center work in active collaboration with multidisciplinary teams of experienced and compassionate professionals. At the detox level, care is provided by an ASAM-certified psychiatrist, a physician assistant, and members of our counseling and nursing staffs. Residential treatment also features certified alcohol and drug counselors (CADCs), licensed professional counselors (LPCs), and masters and bachelors-level counselors.
