We had the privilege of touring mass-timber buildings and a production facility alongside our friends at the Portland Housing Bureau, Prosper Portland, and Portland Permitting & Development. We learned about the materials, production, and applications in construction. By exploring cutting-edge materials and methods, we're committed to shaping a more innovative and sustainable future for Portland.

We are proud to partner with Energy Trust of Oregon and Proud Ground to make net-zero affordable homes possible in Portland!
"They're creating great benefit for the folks that live there. They'll have ultra-low energy bills, and those savings mean reduced greenhouse gas emissions which is really what the Portland clean energy fund is all about." Congratulations to PCEF and the Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability on this incredible work! We're proud to support the energy efficiency features with our incentives and expertise. https://lnkd.in/gVE6MxMc

We're proud to be partnering with Earth Advantage and the incredible Community Distribution Partners who have created comfortable and safer living spaces for our communities who need it most. Thank you for all that you do.
With the cooler fall season officially underway, we’re pleased to announce that the Cooling Portland program has exceeded our 4,000-unit installation goal for 2024 by more than 1,000 units! Our partners have installed more than 5,700 portable cooling units this year alone, with more than 12,800 units installed since the program began in 2022. This represents thousands of Portland households most at risk of experiencing heat-related illnesses that now have air conditioning to keep them safe during extreme heat events. Many thanks to Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability’s Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund (PCEF) and our many Community Distribution Partners for your hard work and dedication to providing life-saving resources for your fellow Portlanders. Get more information on the Cooling Portland program, and see real-time progress towards our goals here: https://lnkd.in/gVJRr7VF #PCEF #climatejustice

🚲 We had a great time at Portland Sunday Parkways in SW Portland! Our staff and Master Recycler Program volunteers enjoyed talking with Portlanders about what can be recycled and why - we love to talk trash! We were proud to be a co-sponsor of this terrific event: This is the first Sunday Parkways supported by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund. Thanks to Portland Bureau of Transportation and the 11,000 people who biked, walked, and enjoyed a beautiful day in SW!

Join us this Sunday in SW Portland for Sunday Parkways! We’re proud to be a co-sponsor of this terrific event: This is the first Sunday Parkways supported by the Portland Clean Energy Community Benefits Fund. PCEF’s Jaimes Valdez explained that “bringing folks together at the intersection of equitable, sustainable transportation and providing numerous community benefits is what PCEF is all about.” ♻ And while you’re exploring all the great activities Sunday Parkways has to offer, be sure to stop by our Recycle or Not table to test your recycling knowledge and ask the experts questions about why some things can be recycled and others can’t. https://lnkd.in/gpbAaNxB
