PSU continues to serve the city, region, and state of Oregon.
Portland State University has once again been ranked #1 in social mobility and service learning for the state of Oregon, by the U.S. News and World Report. “These rankings speak to the core of PSU's mission and celebrate our focus on student success and providing traditionally marginalized communities with access to high-quality education," said PSU President Ann Cudd. We're proud to share that Oregon Business magazine has named the Portland State University Foundation one of Oregon's 100 Best Nonprofits to work for, moving up to number 11 this year! This marks our fourth consecutive year on the list, and we couldn't have done it without our incredible employees. With 34 days of paid time off, up to 12% employer contributions to 401(k) plans and PSU-affiliated benefits, we're committed to creating a positive, supportive workplace where we can all thrive. One employee put it best: "Everyone here is very helpful, and we truly believe in the work we're doing." Thank you to our amazing team for your dedication and belief in the work we do together. https://lnkd.in/gX8JNdJf #BestNonprofits #PSU #OregonBusiness #NonprofitExcellence #Teamwork #HigherEducation #OregonJobs

We're honored to be teaming up with our friends at LAIKA Studios in a big way to bring new opportunities to our region. Together, we'll launch a three-year pilot program to develop a cohort of LAIKA faculty fellows and student scholars from Portland State University College of the Arts. The group will work with LAIKA to help prepare a diverse pool of career-ready graduates who'll lead Oregon's creative industries. https://lnkd.in/gWXxNMu3

Earlier this week, we had the honor of welcoming Congressman Earl Blumenauer as Portland State's first Presidential Fellow. The event celebrated his upcoming roles as Senior Fellow and Special Advisor to President Ann Cudd and his commitment to harnessing PSU’s research to tackle Portland’s most pressing challenges. As Congressman Blumenauer joins Portland State University upon his retirement, we are excited about his impact on revitalizing downtown Portland and collaborating with students, faculty, and regional partners to shape the city’s future. Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible! View photos from the event: https://lnkd.in/gmeVYNdh

We're thrilled to celebrate the start of construction for the new home for PSU's Schnitzer School of Art + Art History + Design!
