Steel erection is nearing completion on the new Neuroscience Center for Ochsner Health in Jefferson Parish, New Orleans, LA with Woodward Design+Build. This 5-story structure is designed to receive up to 3 additional floors on top in the future.

We’re excited to share that the new USACE Regional Headquarters Office in Mobile, AL has been awarded a 2024 Tilt-Up Achievement Award by the Tilt-Up Concrete Association. Scheduled for completion in 2025, this unique 6-story structure is as aesthetically beautiful as it is functional. As the project designers, Wight & Company worked closely with the engineering and construction teams to seamlessly blend tilt-up concrete and other high-quality materials to achieve detailed design elements. Significant progress has been made on the new Rice University Sarofim Hall building with Austin Commercial. Postel Erection Group, LLC. has now removed the main shoring tower supporting the 156' clear span rafters. We are very appreciative of all of the hard work the team has put in to bring this special project to life!!

Project Update at WestPoint 45!!! Big thanks to Postel Erection Group, LLC, Angler Construction LLC, and VIGAVI for the progress we've achieved on this 750,000SF tilt wall! In just over three weeks we have completed core erection with decking thanks to a combination of panelized erection and stick-built fill in.. Seen now, just over 4 weeks after mobilization we have 40 of the 233 panels lifted into position with perimeter steel ongoing!

After nearly 8 months of planning and collaboration with Walter P Moore, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Jackson & Ryan Architects and Austin Commercial, Postel Erection Group, LLC erected the first of twelve rafters for the new Sarofim Hall building for Rice University in Houston, TX. These are massive 66” tall, tapered, built-up plate rafters clear spanning nearly 160’ and weighing close to 80,000 lbs each. These clear-span rafters required this custom shoring tower at the center for temporary support until all welding is completed and permanent bracing can be utilized. All steel for this project is being fabricated by Postel International, Inc.

Steel erection is now underway on this new Neuroscience Center for Ochsner Health in New Orleans, LA with Woodward Design+Build. This is a 3-tier steel framed structure, 5 floors total. Once the entire 1st tier (lower 2 floors) is erected, we will start stacking the next tier on top. Glad to be a part of this project.
