Voting in elections is one of the best ways to make your voice heard in our democracy. On National Voter Registration Day, we want to remind you to check your voter registration...and while you're at it, sign up to be a poll worker! You can help newly registered voters, and in some areas, become a poll worker before you're even old enough to vote! Learn more at powerthepolls.org

Early voting starts this month across the country! But before the polls can open, election offices need poll workers signed up and trained to ensure each day of voting runs smoothly. There's still time to fill out your application. Click to learn more: powerthepolls.org

Across the country, voters count on their polling location to be accessible, efficient, and most importantly, OPEN for Election Day and early voting. Without poll workers, none of this would be possible. Some states still need poll workers to ensure everyone can participate in democracy. See your state? Click here to sign up now: powerthepolls.org

We were thrilled to read this report from Harvard Business School about companies giving their staff the day off to vote! The report highlights the work of some of our partners, including Patagonia, PayPal, and Levi Strauss & Co. This year, jurisdictions across the country are expecting high voter turnout, which could increase the potential for long lines — which is why we need even more temporary election staff available to serve on Election Day. Power the Polls is inviting businesses across industries to give their employees the day off to serve as poll workers on Election Day or during early voting. It's great for employee engagement and for business to engage in local civics! Read the article and email us at partners@powerthepolls.org to learn more. https://lnkd.in/g-dqC_Th

We just heard some great news from Power the Polls - they are now tracking more FULL jurisdictions than jurisdictions with remaining poll worker needs (the earliest they've ever hit this mark)! BUT - they still need help to close several hundred remaining gaps! And partners - like Healing Politics - drove the majority of signs ups of new poll workers! This election cycle is expected to show historic turnout, and we want to be sure the polls are adequately staffed. Poll working is fun, nonpartisan, and you may even get paid! Election administrators are especially looking for poll workers who are tech-savvy and/or bilingual. Encourage your children - in many states, you can be as young as 16 or 17 to serve as a poll worker. Register here - https://lnkd.in/eSu5DAKf #PowerthePolls
