Students from PREA Foundation-funded Programs Inspire Attendees at PREA & PREA Foundation Reception At a recent NYC reception event that brought together industry leaders from the PENSION REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION (PREA) Board, Investor Council, and PREA Foundation Board, we had the pleasure of hearing from two incredible individuals who have been deeply impacted by the Foundation’s programs, Joy Enaohwo and Yahna Watkins. Joy Enaohwo, a participant in the SEO (Sponsors for Educational Opportunity) Real Estate Track and Clarion Partners LLC intern, shared her transformative experience: “Joining the SEO program at the start of my junior year was a pivotal decision that laid the foundation for a promising career. I am deeply grateful to the donors of the PREA Foundation because, without your support, programs like SEO would not be possible.” Yahna Watkins, a Toigo Foundation Real Estate Intensive participant and Capital R Investments intern, reflected on her journey: “Navigating the real estate world felt like moving from a tic-tac-toe board to a complex chess game. The Toigo Fellows and mentors provided steady guidance and a sense of shared experience.” Special thanks to the generous donors of the PREA Foundation, whose support enables aspiring talents like Joy and Yahna to embark on rewarding careers in commercial real estate.

Celebrating Leadership and Generosity: Dean Adler and Sonny Kalsi as PREA Foundation's First $5 Million Donors The PENSION REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION (PREA) Board, Investor Council, and the PREA Foundation gathered in New York City last month to honor Dean Adler and Sonny Kalsi as the Foundation’s first $5 million donors.  Dean shared his heartfelt motivation, saying, “In the early days of my career, I benefited greatly from the mentorship of others. Today, I am in a position to lead and mentor, helping those who want to join our industry." Sonny also emphasized the collective impact of the Foundation, adding, “The Foundation is doing such amazing work and gives the industry a way to combine our efforts. Dean stepping up, and being in my home state, it just felt like the right thing to do!” PREA Foundation Chair, Debbie Harmon, closed the event with a message of inspiration, inviting the industry to join the Foundation in Widening the Circle of Opportunity in Commercial Real Estate.
