Imagine you need to sync data from a SaaS platform to your data warehouse. Your vendor gives you two choices:  1. Scrape an API  2. Use a data export that pushes updates directly to your warehouse Which do you choose? Scraping requires building and maintaining a pipeline. Data exports require less than 10 minutes of work. They’re also much faster and far more reliable than scraping. No brainer, right? Most companies don’t offer data exports because they’re really hard to build. Teams need to become experts in each destination platform before building integrations with each of them. This is why we built Prequel. Prequel gives teams everything they need to build secure, reliable, high-speed data exports for their customers. With one simple integration, their customers can schedule syncs in-app and send data wherever it’s needed. Our platform supports 20+ destinations, including every major data warehouse, database, and object storage service. Data arrives in analysis-ready tables that can be plugged right into a BI tool or joined with other data sets. No cleaning or parsing is required. Ready to stop scraping? Introduce us to your data partners. And if your customers are asking for better data access, we’re here to help.

There's one question we're guaranteed to get on every first call with prospects. And I love watching the look on their face when we answer it. Them: "Are you sure you can handle our data volume?" Me: "Yep" Them: " It's… large. Like really large." Me: "Not a problem." Them: "Like millions of rows per day large." Me: "We got you." Them: "What's the upper bound of what you can do?!" Me: "we've got customers who do billions of rows per day per destination, and we could probably go bigger if we needed to." Them: *some combination of speechless and 🤯* Look, I get where they're coming from. They're used to ETL tools, the ones who get data out by scraping APIs. You're lucky if you can get more than 7,000 rows per minute transferred with those. And if you do, the API-owner on the other side might find you and have a word with you for making their servers run hot. It's not like ETL tools are slacking off. We're playing a fundamentally unfair game. We bypass the API layer altogether, because we know it's inefficient. Instead, we've built direct database-to-database transfer technology. That allows us to unlock orders of magnitude better scale, reliability, and performance. The results speak for themselves: we power data transfers for companies capturing and processing massive amounts of data. SaaS platforms like Gong, Zuora, and LogRocket rely on us to send up to 100M rows every 15 minutes. That's _two_ orders of magnitude faster than the ETL tools mentioned earlier. Oh, and we're not done yet: we just kicked off a project to unlock the next level of scale. Buckle your seatbelts, this is only the start. 🏎️ 🏁

Thrilled to share that Prequel is now an official MongoDB partner! Teams who run on Mongo can now instantly share billions of records with their customers, regardless of what platform those customers want to receive the data on. We're excited to continue to make data access easy and possible, and to break down data silos 🔨. Know a team running on Mongo who needs to share data with their customers? Give us a shout!

pumped to announce sacra pipeline, which syncs sacra research and data directly into your database or data warehouse—so you can work with it natively using your existing tooling. our mission at sacra is to get our research & data on growth and pre-ipo tech companies into the hands of every platform and fund that needs it. sacra pipeline makes that stupidly easy by piping our data to you from day 1. just connect your database (postgres, mysql, mongodb) or data warehouse (snowflake, redshift, databricks) and your product and data teams can start cranking immediately. to check it out, see our launch vid below and email us at founders@sacra.com to get started 👇 🔌 for platforms, this means exposing sacra data in customer-facing features without building data pipelines 🧑💻 for funds, it means analyzing companies in sql and creating prospect lists without switching tools. 🔁 for ai developers, it means ingesting and continuously syncing data for RAG as we add to and update our research ultimately, our goal is "easy in, easy out" data. stupidly easy to sign up, get started, and get value - without barriers or commitments. major thanks to Danny Tharma who made it happen here at sacra! to get started with sacra pipeline, email us at founders@sacra.com. 🚀

We've seen some pretty tremendous growth at Prequel over the last couple quarters, and a question we've been asking ourselves is how we can take our GTM efforts to the next level still. One area we knew we could majorly improve on was marketing -- how we tell our customer's story, and the value they get from our product -- and so we set out to find an amazing marketer. During our search, we met Kevin, and we instantly knew we had to bring him onboard (we've got the Slack messages to back it up!). After some convincing (okay, maybe a little more than just some), he agreed to join us and lead marketing at Prequel. Kevin has taken marketing from 0 to 1 several times, most recently at Clear Street, where he led marketing from pre-launch to unicorn status and beyond. Welcome to the team, Kevin. We're so excited to have you onboard!
