M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Department and the Department of Parks and Recreation recently welcomed the National Director of the National Park and Planning Agency of Guinea and a Guinean delegation to Largo HQ! Planning Director Lakisha Hull and Division Chief Tony Felts shared an overview of Plan 2035, placemaking initiatives, and the Planning Assistance to Municipalities and Communities program. To connect the visioning to park planning, the group toured a few spotlight M-NCPPC properties including the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex, Watkins Regional Park, Newton White Mansion, College Park Aviation Museum and Airport, and Lake Artemesia.
