On Monday, Progress Residential convened an amazing group of housing industry experts, law enforcement professionals, non-profit leaders, government and policy leaders, including Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, in Atlanta for the 2024 Safety Summit: Safe Housing in Thriving Communities. The event’s purpose was to leverage the diverse insights and expertise of these partners to collaborate on solutions to housing and public safety challenges.       We’re inspired by the energy and passion to not only discuss housing needs but learn from others and build connections to help support safe communities where individuals and families can thrive.      This event was just the beginning; we look forward to continuing the dialogue and partnership with this dynamic group of thought leaders. We’re proud to have been the Inaugural Volunteer Sponsor for the 3rd Annual Ride for the Westside in partnership with the Westside Future Fund in Atlanta! Our leaders recently took part in key discussions at the Rently Summit, focusing on the future of rental security and innovation. Matthew W. Horace, M.A., CPP, our Chief Security Officer, delivered a powerful keynote on the pressing issues of rental fraud and safety. He highlighted how Progress Residential is leading the way in protecting our residents, employees, and properties through thoughtful processes, dedicated security teams, and strong partnerships with law enforcement. September marks the beginning of a new tradition at Progress Residential — Serving September! This is our opportunity to celebrate the incredible ways our teams have given back to the communities we serve throughout the year. This month, we’ve amplified the amazing work being done across our markets and showcasing how, together, we’re making a positive impact in our communities.      Over the weekend, team members in Atlanta helped the Westside Future Fund prepare for the upcoming Ride for the Westside by cleaning up the race-day course in the historic Westside neighborhood. We’re proud of our Progress team in Tempe for spearheading a Water for Hope donation drive to benefit the Salvation Army.
