This five-story 67,000 m² project maximizes space efficiency and solves last-mile logistics hurdles.    And, it's fully aligned with our environmental objectives! This project features a solar hub, low-carbon building materials, green spaces and mobility offerings on each level. Hispanic/Latin-American Heritage Month has given our teams across the U.S. the opportunity to experience and embrace the dynamic culture of their peers - el sabor Latino! From salsa dancing and cafecito in Indianapolis to an intense domino showdown in Orlando and teaching the Silicon Valley office how to make (and savor) a home-cooked Latin meal, our HOLA employee resource group members have been busy spotlighting their culture to their peers. We also hosted a global webinar where HOLA members discussed the business impact of diverse experiences. In San Francisco, our employees engaged directly with La Casa de las Madres, learning exactly why HOLA chose to donate to the nonprofit organization during their heritage month (for two years in a row!). HOLA also donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Tracy and the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park this month. HOLA is short for Hispanic/Latinx Organization for Leadership and Advancement - one of our five employee resource groups. The latest trend in build-to suit warehouses? Sustainability! On a recent project we: ☀️ Installed solar panels that generate enough energy to power 90% of the building's operations. 🌡️ Designed a building that maintains a moderate temperature for over 86% of the year (decreased energy for cooling/heating) 💡 Installed intelligent LED lights paired with a building design that allows 63% natural light. 🔌 Included 13 Level 2 electric vehicle charging station and 65 EV capable spaces. 🏗️ Designed to reduce embodied carbon by 11%. Oh, and all that came with a 90% savings on energy costs for our customer! Our team loves transforming sustainability challenges into operationally efficient solutions. What’s the key to building successful public-private partnerships? Former UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne and Ben Bannatyne talked about how business and government can work together.
