We’re pleased to announce that we led a $47M growth investment in Nym, a leader in autonomous medical coding. Nym’s mission is to help simplify the US healthcare system and reduce the country’s outsized administrative burden to ultimately allow healthcare providers to focus on patients and reduce the cost of care. Leveraging AI and clinical language understanding technology, Nym is able to decipher medical charts and aims to accurately assign medical codes quickly, securely, and in real time, help reduce the associated time and costs. The investment aims to accelerate the expansion of Nym’s multi-specialty solution to support new care areas. Rotem Shacham, Director at PSG said, “In our view, autonomous medical coding is the clear direction of travel for the healthcare industry due to the persistent shortage of medical coders and unmitigated costs, among other factors. We believe Nym is set to maintain its position as a leading autonomous medical coding provider due to its AI-powered engine’s ability to help improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and compliance, enabling providers to focus on patient care.” Read more about the investment below: https://lnkd.in/g879N9Dq #growthequity #healthtech #AI

PSG’s Zoe L. Rubin, Max Raisleger, Kelsey Cuddy, and Peter Zonsius recently laced up their sneakers and took to the pavement in the 12th annual Glen Doherty Memorial Road Race. The Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation works to support Special Operators as they transition from military to civilian life. To date, over $1,000,000 in scholarships have been awarded to 135 recipients, helping fund their traditional education and vocational/professional training journeys. We are honored to sponsor such a meaningful cause and preserve the memory of those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. A big thank you to GDMF board member Sarah Blatt and scholars Andrew Dugan, Anthony Capuano, and Andrew Heiny for sending our runners off! #philanthropy #giveback

The third episode of the Disruption Matters special podcast miniseries in partnership with AlixPartners is now live. In this episode, we will discuss life after the 100-day plan and that tricky middle period where effective portfolio management is paramount, especially if the company isn’t growing in line with expectations. Here we’ll investigate how tech and AI can be used to diagnose problems, even propose solutions, and how much the human element still matters in managing a crisis. For example, no workforce wants management relying on AI bots to sell them on a new strategic direction. Listen to all episodes here: https://lnkd.in/eaGVQy_X Host Rob Kotecki is joined by Antony Edwards, managing director at PSG Equity; Arvindh Kumar, partner and co-head of technology, private equity at EQT Group; Daniel Boland, partner and managing director at AlixPartners; and Neil Kalvelage, senior managing director at Centerbridge Partners, L.P.. This episode was produced by Mina Tümay and edited by Eric Fish

We recently hosted our 2024 London LP Conference in the heart of Soho at the stunning Ham Yard Hotel. This year’s theme focused on AI, and it was exciting to hear our panelists’ perspectives on AI’s impact on the market, as well as PSG’s growth and roadmap for the future. We loved seeing our portfolio partners from Mapal Group and Signaturit Group , along with our PSG team and London LPs, come together for this event. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the conference a great success. We are looking forward to our upcoming conferences in Boston and New York City later this month!
