This new report features findings from a national survey, supported by Arnold Ventures, that explored the views of Americans with employer insurance on rising insurance premiums, the impact of provider prices on health care costs, and price regulation. Phillandra Smith, Ph.D. and Mahati Kopparla will explore educators’ approach to culturally relevant and sustaining education through students’ experiences of their cultural heritages and identities. Public Agenda is excited to announce the slate of scholars awarded funding as part of our Pennsylvania Education Equity Project. Hailing from institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Pittsburgh, Temple University, and Eastern University, these researchers will undertake important work on educator training and teaching practices aimed to ensure that all students’ backgrounds, identities, experiences, and aspirations are recognized in teaching materials and interactions with peers and educators.
