HOW TO HELP JASPER 🏔️ Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our firefighters and emergency responders, combined with a bit of luck from Mother Nature, the wildfire in the townsite has been contained. While the situation continues to evolve, momentum is positive. However, much work still lies ahead. Jasper is an authentic, resilient community that has faced challenges before. We’re confident that the spirit of Jasper is more powerful than fire or natural disaster. Jasper will rebuild, stronger and better than before. Here’s how you can help the community: Donate funds to organizations that help us direct funding to those who need it most, including @jaspercommunityteamsociety and @banffcanmorefoundation's Rocky Mountain Community Relief Fund.

The community of Jasper has suffered unimaginable loss as a result of devastating wildfires. With everyone safely evacuated from the townsite our focus is on taking care of each other. We have a challenging road ahead and will continue to be there for our team, their families and our neighbours. We are working closely with the municipality of Jasper, Parks Canada and tourism partners and together we remain strong and resilient. We want to thank firefighters and emergency workers for their heroic efforts, as they work tirelessly around the clock and will continue to do so in the coming days. While we are still learning of the full impact of the fires, we are fully committed to supporting Jasper and its recovery.

“The fish are plentiful, and they’re hungry. They like to eat, so you don’t have to be an expert, you don’t have to sneak up on them all the time … We have some exceptional guides here that can give you great instruction, and they’re pretty much on a first name basis with most of the fish out here, so they can show you where the fish are.”

Today, we are privileged to welcome one of Jasper’s most recognized attractions to Pursuit with the addition of the Jasper SkyTram.   We are also pleased to welcome new team members to Pursuit, with the addition of the current SkyTram team.     This iconic experience, celebrating 60 years of operation this year, provides visitors with stunning views of Jasper and the surrounding Canadian Rocky Mountains and is a bucket list stop when visiting Jasper National Park.    This new acquisition, subject to the engagement and consent through Parks Canada’s lease assignment process, illustrates our commitment in ensuring sustainable growth across Pursuit. And we are excited to plan for the future refresh and renewal of the SkyTram together with the Jasper community and in alignment with Parks Canada.
