On this day in 1979, #RIF was welcomed to the White House by First Lady Rosalynn Carter for National Reading is Fun Day featuring entertainer, Carol Burnett and children's author, Maurice Sendak. 45 years later RIF is honored to partner with nearly every administration and most recently partner with The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library. In August we worked together to bring a book celebration event to the library honoring the First Lady and her commitment to children's literacy.
