Review complex BIM in VR to reduce construction risk and improve building quality. Works on Meta Quest.

About us

Resolve is a VR software that allows design and construction teams to review the most complex BIM in immersive environments. Resolve is the only VR app that works on the wireless Quest without needing to downsize your models. We help teams resolve issues in their 3D BIM models by leveraging easy-to-use consumer VR hardware in the Oculus Quest. Resolve is powered by a custom model loading engine making it the first commercially available solution capable of opening complex building models with hundreds of millions of polygons on the wireless Oculus Quest virtual reality headset. Resolve connects directly to Autodesk’s Construction Cloud and Procore so teams can easily bring model data into VR and sync issues. Resolve can be used to review Revit, Navisworks, and 70 other file formats supported by ACC. Our latest video interview just went live! I dive into the use of #VR for hyperscale data center engineering design with Chris Openshaw of Cundall. Hear about Chris' journey with VR and how Resolve is helping project teams deliver high quality deliverables that prevent construction changes. The data center construction market is booming. And it's important to maintain a high standard of quality even with tight construction schedules. Listen to the conversation to learn how collaborative design review tools like Resolve help reduce project risk and increase quality. Listen to the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/gVtkRy-s

Simple and useful feature from the latest Resolve release for Quest. In one click you can email yourself any media that you capture using the Quest's built in video and screenshot tools. If you've ever taken an awesome video of one of your #VR reviews but then struggled to get it off the device because of USB drivers, Meta app issues, etc. then this one is for you! Email to yourself then forward it, download the attachment and share internally, or post to social media. p.s. I expect to see a lot more VR content from Resolve on my LinkedIn feed now 😉

Principal Engineer - Building Automation at Cundall

It was a pleasure to be invited to speak with Angel from Resolve about the integration of #VR into our work in designing #datacentres at #hyperscale. Having grown up playing video games and exploring 3D worlds, it's amazing to now use this technology to review data centre designs as if physically there - despite the fact they have yet to be constructed.    VR is an exciting advancement in our field. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to influence design in our industry and allows us to build mission-critical facilities with even greater precision and speed.    If you want to learn more about how we are using VR to help design data centres, please reach out - and make sure to listen to my thoughts in Resolve's latest video! #criticalsystems #cundall

I've been looking forward to the latest episode of Resolve's interview series. I sat down with Ryan Lawrence from DPR Construction to chat about what it takes to successfully roll out #VR reviews on construction projects. From healthcare facilities to data centers, DPR teams are rolling out #XR in ways that actually get used and drive positive impact on project delivery. What I love about this conversation is that it shows how Ryan and his teams are being really deliberate about how they conduct VR reviews. They know the who, what, when, and why. If you're considering adding VR to your projects workflows this interview is for you. Ryan cover the types of #BIM reviews that are well suited for VR and how to integrate it into existing workflows to maximize ROI.

The Power of 2D and 3D: Immersive Technology for better #Construction #Workflows 🏗️ 🚧 Don't believe the hype - 2D isn't going anywhere, and it's still an essential part of construction workflows. To make informed decisions, you need to combine 2D and 3D data. 2D provides important context from drawings, issues, site images, and project dashboards, while 3D models offer immersive visualisation. Resolve 's new App Portal brings together 2D and 3D data, making it easy to access and combine information from platforms like ACC and Procore in VR. This powerful combination helps paint a full picture of your project, empowering better decision-making. 💡 Credit to Angel Say for the insights! #ConstructionWorkflows #2D #3D #VR #Innovation

Another clip from my conversation with Ursula Llabres from Meta. In data center construction, where operations and avoiding downtime are a key part of the building lifecycle, it's crucial that your electrical and mechanical systems are designed in a way that's easy to service. But you don't need to wait until they're installed to determine if they're easily accessible or not. I break down how #VR helps people with a wealth of field expertise chime into the #BIM coordination process more easily. ⚛️🌐 Resolve helps you move bits not atoms
