We don't know about you, but our LinkedIn feed is littered with companies and colleagues inviting us to visit them in Vegas (ANDMORE). If you took everyone up on all those offers, you'd be visiting showrooms 24/7 - no time for sleeping or dining out. Phew! Instead of inviting you to visit us - though we certainly hope you will - we'd like to offer some solid Vegas survival advice. 1. Plan ahead. Map out your showroom visits before leaving home. Add in buffer time for delays and spontaneous visits. You can't visit everyone but prioritizing your top pics will ensure you don't miss the essentials. 2. Arrive sleep ready. Nap on the plane to help you adjust time zones. Ask for a room away from the ice machine and elevators. Relax before bed to help your mind unwind - keep your bed as a sleep-only zone! 3. Practice moderation. It's easy to indulge in alcohol in Vegas - too easy - so budget your intake and stick to it. Same with caffeine or sugary drinks you wouldn't normally indulge in at home. Water is your BFF in Vegas! 4. Exercise. You may not have time for the gym but opting for the stairs instead of the elevator or parking further away from your destination will help keep your body moving. 5. Practice acceptance. St. Francis of Assisi had it right when he prayed to accept what he couldn't change. Map out your plan, practice healthy habits and forgive yourself if it all goes by the wayside. The jetlag crash will be waiting for you at home, welcoming you with open arms :-) See y'all in Vegas!

More people are seeking the expertise of sleep coaches to help them put insomnia to rest. These professionals get to the root of sleep issues by asking the right questions and even assessing the snooze-ability attributes of a bedroom with an in-home visit. As a sales associate, we have the privilege of helping our customers understand the value of a sleep coach and how to find the right one. Here are some key points we share with our customers about the benefits of working with a sleep coach: * Personalized assessment. Sleep coaches provide a thorough evaluation of individual sleep habits and environments. They can pinpoint specific factors contributing to insomnia and offer tailored solutions. * In-home consultations. Many sleep coaches offer in-home visits to assess the bedroom setup. They evaluate elements such as mattress quality, bedding, room temperature and lighting to create an optimal sleep environment. * Holistic approach. Sleep coaches take a comprehensive approach, addressing lifestyle, diet, stress levels and other factors that influence sleep. This holistic method ensures that all aspects of sleep health are considered. * Expert guidance: By asking the right questions and utilizing their expertise, sleep coaches can offer practical advice and actionable steps to improve sleep quality. They provide ongoing support and adjustments to ensure lasting results. If you're looking for a sleep coach, take it slow and ask lots of questions. Here are some tips to help you find the right coach: * Check credentials. Ensure the sleep coach has proper certification and experience in sleep health and coaching. * Ask about approach. Different coaches may have varying methods. It’s important to find one whose approach aligns with your preferences and needs. * Read reviews. Reading testimonials and reviews from other clients can provide insight into the coach’s effectiveness and style. * Schedule a consultation. Schedule an initial consultation to see if the coach is a good fit for you.

Do men and women sleep differently? Research suggests that they do and these differences can sometimes make it challenging for couples to find a harmonious sleep routine. Tired and grumpy mornings don’t contribute to happy relationships. Our sales associates understand these differences. Men typically have fewer sleep disruptions, while women may experience more due to hormonal fluctuations. Here are a few strategies we often share with our customers to help both partners sleep better together: * Invest in a high-quality mattress. A good mattress can make a significant difference in sleep quality. We recommend a mattress that minimizes motion transfer, which can be particularly beneficial if one partner moves a lot during the night. * Consider different bedding solutions. Sometimes, using separate blankets or opting for temperature-regulating bedding can help each partner find their comfort zone throughout the night without disturbing the other. * Create a consistent sleep environment. We encourage our customers to establish a calm, quiet, dark sleep environment with blackout curtains, white noise machines or eye masks if necessary. * Align sleep schedules. We advise couples to try going to bed and waking up at the same time to minimize disruptions. This can help synchronize their sleep cycles and improve overall sleep quality.

Mattress covers are designed to cover (and sometimes encase) your mattress to protect it from daily wear and tear, shielding it from dust, allergens and spills. But a mattress protector can also help maintain a consistent temperature in the microclimate of your bed, reducing tossing and turning. Some can even improve the comfort-level of the mattress. Our sleep specialists at Restonic Mattress would love to help you find your perfect sleep solution!

Big, small, tall, king-sized? There’s a smorgasbord of decisions to make before you pick the right size mattress for you. It’s not like you’ve bought a ton of mattresses during your life so take a moment and ponder what works best for you based on the space you have available and who’s in your life. Considering how much time we spend sleeping – or should spend sleeping – we believe it should take longer to buy a mattress than to order a pizza. There are a million reasons why we may not be sleeping well. Sadly, worrying about sleep is the fastest route to insomnia, not a good night’s sleep. Any of these sleep thieves sound familiar? 1. Too much light in your bedroom 2. Too warm in your bedroom 3. Too much exercise too late in the day 4. Too much alcohol too late in the evening 5. Too much caffeine after 2 pm 6. Too much heavy eating before bed 7. Too much late-night TV 8. Too much late-night stressing If any of these sound familiar, it’s time change up your sleep routine: https://bit.ly/3R1FqzM If it's time to upgrade your mattress, sleep specialists at Restonic Mattress can help you find a new mattress that actually supports you.
