Caelin Dowdell in one word? Determined. Caelin joined Reuter-Stokes as our #Marketing Specialist just under one year ago … and just weeks after getting married! “It was kind of crazy to be in the most chaotic stretch of wedding planning … and going through the job interview process at the same time! It was worth it though,” she says. You may not recognize her, because she’s usually behind the camera during company events. “I try to make people feel as comfortable as possible,” she says, “But I can always feel people get nervous when I show up with the camera.” She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s in multimedia journalism, with minors in both political science and graphic design. “I knew what I was interested in and what I was good at – but I had no idea what I wanted to do as far as a career!” Her experience is rooted in organic social media growth for a variety of organizations, from a non-profit chamber of commerce, to a local public safety department, a private manufacturing company and now a publicly traded company. “The goal is to make complicated subjects easy to understand and build the brand!” she quips, “But at the end of the day, the brand is the people… and Reuter-Stokes has some pretty great people.” Her favorite part of the job? Content! She may even be writing this in third person right now… #WeAreBakerHughes

Directional drilling relies on powerful detection solutions that will withstand the harshest of environments. High temperatures, shock, and vibration are no match for Reuter-Stokes' downhole sensors. Our uniquely rugged design ensures the largest volume scintillation crystals can be used in operations with minimal footprints, while keeping sensitive equipment safe from damage. Confirm you have the best data for your formation evaluation: https://lnkd.in/g6mdn7De #Oil #Gas #OilAndGas #Drilling #DirectionalDrilling #Upstream

Isaac Bratton in one word? Inventive. Isaac earned a master’s degree in nuclear engineering from The Ohio State University before spending seven years in critical safety for spent nuclear fuel with the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (FMP). “Since high school, there was just something about harnessing the power of the atom that has always interested me,” Isaac says, “[The Naval Nuclear Laboratory] reinforced my commitment to always doing what is right and safety always comes first.” He started to support tests on US Navy reactors to get hands-on experience and working directly with the customers (navy sailors). His goal was to find a career in Ohio with similar hands-on work. After supporting manufacturing of naval reactors for the next three years, Isaac quickly realized he missed engineering design work. “I discovered an opening at Reuter-Stokes that provided the perfect mix of #manufacturing and design all within the #nuclear industry,” he says, “My job allows me to see and support the product manufacturing while imbuing me with the power to modify the design to solve the customer’s needs.” Isaac works with customers and suppliers of different cultures and professional disciplines to design detectors for reactors and support the evolution of nuclear power. His colleagues call him a Philomathean — a lover of learning! His favorite part of the job? Working with passionate people. He describes Reuter-Stokes as “a small company feel with large company resources.” And he describes himself as a family man! “The universe paid me back for having all sisters,” he jokes, “I’m married with three boys, and I enjoy coaching their soccer teams, helping at Cub Scouts, or watching them play basketball or tennis.” #WeAreBakerHughes #CompanyCulture #EmployeeSpotlight
