Here are our top 10 tips to get more InMails from recruiters. RRA clients are now getting 1-3 InMails daily. I spoke to 3 recruiters last week to get fresh info. 1 Use the right keywords. Run 5 top job posts through ChatGPT to find the keywords for your target roles. Use those keywords in your profile, naturally. 2 Complete every section. Profiles with all sections filled out rank higher in searches. 3 Engage. Comment, post, or share content periodically to keep your profile active. 4 Get 1-3 recommendations. They add credibility and improve your SEO ranking. 5 Customize your URL. Make it simple and professional for easy sharing. /johnsmith is better than /johnsmith-049 6 Optimize your summary. Use a hook in the first sentence. Keep it clear, succinct, and relevant. Avoid assumptions about what people know. 7 Use LinkedIn Recruiter filters to your advantage. Recruiters use Keyword & Title searches and filter for Location, Years in Current Role, Company Size & Title. 8 Add skills from job postings. RRA best practice: Find 10 Easy Apply roles, add skills from those jobs. See below. 9 Add alternatives of major skills. For example, Accountants should add both "GAAP" & "US GAAP." See below. 10 Profile Picture. Your profile pic should be - straight ahead - professional for your industry - well-lit - (KEY) zoomed in on face. Recruiters spend 5-10 seconds initially—think of it like a dating profile. Try Profile Pic Maker, shout out to Jean Kang for this resource! The more time recruiters spend on your profile, the more the algorithm upranks you for other recruiters. LinkedIn monetize eyeballs, so if your profile keeps people engaged, it’s the right profile for someone's search. ! Bonus Tip: Ask a recruiter. If you schedule a call with a friendly recruiter, ask them to take 30 seconds to eyeball your profile and give feedback. Thank you for your continued support. Reverse Recruiting Agency reposted this
In college, I had 10 internships. I practically lived at BU Career Services, constantly tweaking my resume. Networking was my sport. Figuring out my future was the game. Post-college, I became the go-to resume and LinkedIn guy for friends. From 2014 to 2023, I landed 300 interviews & calls using my LinkedIn outreach system. I changed careers 5 times and, to my accountant's chagrin, maintained 5 income streams. In 2023, I helped friends, family, and clients find jobs. Early 2024, I helped a VP of Finance get 15 recruiter calls—no job offer, but Reverse Recruiting Agency was born. RRA has incredible product/market fit. In 4 months, we’ve had: - 48 inbound calls - 15 referrals - 12 clients signed - 7 clients terminated - $50 on Google Ads Most of those 7 clients were poor fits—met them on the beach, at a fitness event, even a close friend. Building something takes patience, iteration, and knowing when to move on. We’re now ready to scale. Thanks for your continued support. 5 interviews & 4 replies on 20 applications...but no job yet... Job search stinks and is stuck in 2013, we are changing that. If you're a job seeker, hope the below helps... Reverse Recruiting Stats: June 29 - July 29 (this was all done on his behalf) 46 new LinkedIn connections 70 inmails sent 60 emails sent 4 replies 3 informational interviews 5 calls made 20 jobs applied 5 interviews First, here's why he's getting interviews: 1 Pedigree Our client works in the Fortune 500. His last 3 roles have been in 1 industry. 2 Highly Qualified Overachiever He's a 🚀 rocketship who has drawn a clear path in his specialization, checking & exceeding all necessary boxes. 3 Timeliness RRA applies within 12-24 hours of a role being released. 4 Resume RRA applies with a custom resume, using keyword-optimized bullet points. 5 Follow-up RRA InMails and/or emails 3-5 potential hiring managers following the app. 6 Response time RRA or the candidate replies to any recruiter or LinkedIn msg within 3 hours. Now, why has he not secured a job yet? So, he will not switch unless: - title bump - compensation is the same or better - position is hybrid or remote Wish us luck! RRA is on waitlist for new clients, at the moment. However, we are currently hiring & optimizing our processes so we can very soon handle more clients. Please feel free to apply. Thanks for your continued support. Follow along at Alex Shinkarovsky & Reverse Recruiting Agency #reverserecruiting #reverserecruiter

This week's Fast Company article on reverse recruiting by Anisa Purbasari Horton quoting Brianna Rooney. There are many definitions out there on "What is reverse recruiting?". We define reverse recruiting as a service which works for the candidate to get them a job, faster. #reverserecruiting
A fierce job market requires alternative tactics. That's why some job seekers are hiring "reverse recruiters" to help find roles or companies that may be a good fit. Fast Company reports that the idea is not new but is growing. Choosing the right recruiter for your search depends on your needs and budget. An expert tells Fast Company's Anisa Purbasari Horton to confirm a recruiter's experience before formalizing a relationship. Look for social proof, not just headlines claiming client success. 10 interviews in 3 weeks, 2 offers...our client found a job! Here's how: Reverse Recruiting Stats May 1 - June 1 (this was all done on his behalf) 71 new LinkedIn connections 25 emails sent 9 calls made 85 jobs applied 10 interviews 3 second round interviews 2 offers Here we go... 1 Deadline Our client had a real, non-negotiable deadline to find a job within 45-60 days. With us, or without us, he was going to find one. And he was networking hard, daily. We knew we’d only get paid if WE found him a job. Reverse Recruiting Agency gets paid a % fee on the first year salary. 2 Highly Qualified He is an expert in his very specific niche and has years of experience doing the exact job he wanted. 3 Applying Daily We applied on his behalf efficiently and as soon as a job came out. We made a dashboard of custom searches for Google Jobs, Indeed, etc. Therefore, no time wasted searching for the 'right' jobs. 4 Immediate Follow-Up - applying daily - messaging hiring managers AND job poster on LinkedIn - emailing the exact same message simultaneously - calling their cell phones, at times 5 Job Posting Sites Listing his resume on Monster.com, Indeed, etc. actually produced a lot of inbound leads. This is not true for all clients but helped a lot. Similarly, LinkedIn profile optimization helped inbound InMails. The current job search system is stuck in 2013, broken and awful. We are working to change that. With this win, we are opening up 1-2 slots for July 1. Thanks for your continued support. Follow along at Reverse Recruiting Agency & Alex Shinkarovsky
