Getting to the office can feel like going to the gym—hard to start, but worth it once you’re there. Yet, a poorly managed office isn’t a motivator, it's a repellant. 🙅 A great workplace experience, on the other hand, keeps people coming back. But here's the thing: It’s on us as leaders to make it worth the trip. How is your team making the office a place people want to be?

  • If you think an office move is all about signing ✍️ a lease and ordering new desks, oh, do we have some stories for you. In Part 2 of Robin’s Office Move Lessons series, we’re talking budgeting and space selection, aka the part where dreams 💭 meet spreadsheets 💻. 💸 Spoiler: Your budget isn’t just rent. It’s IT infrastructure, strategic space planning, and, yes, a few surprise costs. Hear from the Robin teams who lived it, including Robin’s CFO, CEO, and workplace operations leads, so you can learn from our budgeting surprises (and maybe even avoid them). If you take one thing away from our experience, let it be this: Every dollar you spend tells your team something about how you expect them to use the office. 📚 Read our post in the comments

  • This isn't just a flashy quote ✨. It's a fundamental shift in how offices function. Today's office should be: ‣ A collaboration hub, not a productivity prison ‣ Where strategy gets set, not just executed ‣ A place for serendipitous connections that spark innovation ‣ The physical backbone of company culture But making this work requires rethinking your workplace operations. The old models of office management don't fit this new reality. See how leading companies are adapting: https://lnkd.in/eh2EZTJh

Had a great time chatting with Clara Murray of the Financial Times about quirky meeting room names. It's one of the things we've seen companies embrace as they try to encourage more time in the office. People want to feel comfortable in their workspaces and, sometimes, the best way to do that is to involve everyone in creative choices like these. (Though sometimes it does backfire . . .) Check out the full piece below and share your favorite (or funniest) meeting room names in the comments below, I'd love to see them. https://bit.ly/3Fl4m1U

  • Moving day, the Robin way. 🚚 Many companies think about office moves in terms of logistics—seating charts, IT setups, and furniture deliveries. But an office move is so much more than that. It’s a chance to rethink how space supports the way your employees actually work. We recently moved into a new HQ 📍, and (spoiler alert) we learned a lot along the way. In this new blog series, we’re sharing the good, the bad, and the lessons we’ll take into the next era of our office. ☝️ First up: What really matters when planning an office move. https://lnkd.in/gBfSaF4W
