This event, which holds a special place in our hearts as we commemorate the lives lost on September 11, 2001, is a powerful demonstration of our community's commitment to service and unity. On Friday, September 6, and Wednesday, September 11, our community will come together to make a difference through a diverse range of volunteer projects addressing local needs. From heartfelt letter-writing to deployed military personnel, to packing 50,000 meals for our neighbors, offering a Hands-on CPR Workshop, and much more, there's something for everyone to get involved in and make a real impact. BCW launches Clean Energy Action Coalition If there is one subject virtually all business leaders agree on, it is that New York State’s energy landscape is changing. The challenge is that the paths forward are numerous, confusing and often are at odds with the practical realities of implementation costs and technological challenges. The Business Council of Westchester has spent the last decade dealing with the rapidly evolving energy picture, and in an effort to bring clarity and a solidified approach from the business community has launched a major new initiative. BCW members Dan Singer, President and CEO of Robison, who with Ron Kamen - EarthKind Energy Consulting and Michael Murphy of Murphy Brothers Contracting, Inc took the lead in initiating the session, emphasized that “we’re looking to the future.
