🏆 Power House Rock Hill 🏆 has been announced as one of four winners of the 2024 Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits Rehabilitation Award. The awards are for participants who strive for excellence in historic preservation. “The Powerhouse at University Center, developed by The Sherbert Group, rehabilitated and adaptively reused the former Rock Hill Printing and Finishing Company Complex’s powerhouse structure. The site is now a mixed-use development with 37 apartments , an on-site brewery 🍺, a food hall 🍽️ with six restaurants, and event spaces 🎉. TMS Development’s overall capital requirement was more than $10 million, which included an allocation of the federal HTCs, state HTCs, and the state textile mill credit.” Winners will be honored at the Novogradac Historic Tax Credit Conference, October 10th and 11th in Kansas City, Missouri. https://lnkd.in/ennKvfAE

More placemaking projects are coming to Rock Hill! 🎨🌆 The Women's Art Initiative, Rock Hill Economic Development 🏙️, and the City of Rock Hill, SC 🏛️ have executed an agreement to partner on three new placemaking projects around the city in the next 5 years. Several downtown projects were completed under the previous agreement, most recently the Corner Oasis mural installation in May of 2024. 🌟 More to come around town! 🌟
