It’s easy to talk about square footage and job creation at groundbreakings. When Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill celebrated the start of its $240 million expansion on Monday, its officials noted something more impactful: How it will enable Inspira to enhance the already top services it provides to the community. The Mullica Hill project – which includes a 150,000-square-foot, 5-story wing and renovations of various clinical and non-clinical spaces in the existing facility – will allow Inspira to expand its capabilities and enhance its services, ensuring greater capacity at its Gloucester County hospital. Services that will be expanded and enhanced on the campus include the intensive care unit, medical/surgical, maternal child health, observation, imaging (both MRI and CT), interventional radiology, and graduate medical education (including a simulation lab for hospital residents). Warren Moore, the chief operating officer at Inspira Health, said the expansion matches the mission and the vision of the organization. “As a leading health care provider, we are always looking to propel the organization forward to ensure sustainable growth for the long term,” he said. https://lnkd.in/eZth5ZBe
