About us

“Service above Self” is the motto of the Loveland Rotary Club which was founded by caring and compassionate leaders in 1920. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service has deeply benefitted Loveland for more than 100 years. Club members meet weekly to socialize, learn from outside speakers, and plan service activities. Today, the club focuses on projects to improve the health and education of the youth in the Loveland Community, to provide community and international disaster assistance, and provide funding for worthy programs and activities throughout Loveland. Financial support is provided through our own charitable organization (501c3), the Loveland Rotary Club Foundation. In addition to donations from Rotarians and funds raised through annual events such as our Rubber Duck Race and the Governor’s Art Show, donations are accepted from people and organizations throughout the region. Loveland Rotary Club is part of Rotary International that aids people in developing countries and encourages peaceful solutions to world problems through its 46,000+ clubs worldwide. A prime example is the Polio Plus program in which Rotary International has raised more than 1 billion dollars to eradicate polio throughout the world. Rotarians are proud that they have almost achieved that goal. Loveland Rotary consists of men and women of all ages, races, and backgrounds who want to serve our community and the world in which we live.
