When designing the brand for Sendero, we sought to harmonize the essence of craft and community. Our goal was to create a brand that exudes both a cool, contemporary flair and the wild west spirit that resonates with the people of Texas. It also needed to reflect the family-friendly nature of the space. Sendero is a place where you can grab a beer with your buddies on a Friday night and let your kids run free during the day. Brave explorers once ventured into the untamed wilderness, seeking new lives and opportunities in the vast unknown. These pioneers discovered the land that is now known as Bastrop, Texas. “Sendero,” a Spanish word meaning path or trail, honors those who blazed the trails before us and built the vibrant community we cherish today. This theme of trails inspired the brand’s illustrative details.
