It’s Construction Inclusion Week, which celebrates diversity and inclusion in the industry. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, as of 2021, the construction industry is 87.9% white and 89% male. Congratulations to heavy-duty truck manufacturer Kenworth Truck Co. on the recent groundbreaking for its new 45,825-square-foot state-of-the-art chassis paint facility. The new building, constructed by Rudolph Libbe Group, is an expansion of the truck manufacturer’s plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. Kenworth executives, along with representatives of Rudolph Libbe and paint-finishing company Giffin, Inc., shoveled dirt with Kenworth trucks and a Rudolph Libbe excavator in the background. The new chassis paint facility, expected to be operational by the first quarter of 2026, will allow the truck manufacturer to enhance efficiency and product quality. Rudolph Libbe has had dedicated staff at the southern Ohio plant for nearly three decades and has 30-plus projects in the pipeline.
